‘Panchagavya’ to treat cancer, HIV!
Staff Reporter TIRUPATI: The second day of ‘Vande Gomatharam’, the national conference on ‘Glory of Cow’ being conducted jointly by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and Sri Bhashyakara Charitable Trust, Chennai, saw extensive deliberations on Sunday on the importance of harnessing the cow’s byproducts such as dung, urine, milk, etc. for the betterment of human life.
Protection of the native cow, a household entity in every village, was cited as a panacea for comprehensive rural development.
In his presentation, Hitesh Jani, working in the Panchakarma department of Gujarat Ayurvedic University, Jamnagar, dubbed ‘Panchagavya’, a mixture of cow milk, curd, ghee, urine and dung, as an eternal elixir and that its consumption in prescribed levels helped treat cancer, diabetes and even HIV.
He noted that 5000 patients suffering from a variety of diseases like allergy, asthma, dermatological disorders, hyper lipidemia and thalassemia had been treated at the three ‘Panchagavya clinics’ run in Jamnagar city during the last three years.
Advising against consumption of cow meat, Dr. Jani said that the heavy stuff could harm the physiology and biochemistry of human body.
In the name of modernisation, the world was running away from the nature’s laws, which could lead the human race at large to destruction, he cautioned.
K .Natarajan, a medical practitioner from Erode (Tamil Nadu) explained how he started administering ‘Panchagavya’ as a cure-all drug
